1. New Features
Version 1.5.1:
- Added support for macOS 10.15 (Catalina)
- Updated Windows version to use the latest i1Studio device SDK

- This release fixes an issue where the application will not install on Windows systems
Version 1.1.0:
- Introduces Data Save Workflow for printer profiling. This feature is ideal for users who want to:
- Finish the profiling process at a later time
- Allow the test charts to dry for an extended time period
- Create a printer profile for a remote printer such as at a photo lab or another location within a building
- Added ability to save ICC profiles in either Version 4 or Version 2
- Added Profile Reminder feature to remind users to re-profile their displays
- Updated Style Profiles in Black & White workflow
- Several usability improvements and minor bug fixes.
Version 1.0.0:
- i1Studio software provides the ability to profile monitors, projectors, scanners and printers.
- Monitor module supports both photo and video workflows.
- Printer modules include ability to create profiles for both color prints and Black & White prints.
- Profile Optimization module is designed to optimize a profile using colors extracted from a specific image and/or measured spot colors.
2. System Requirements
Minimum suggested hardware/software requirements:
Windows® :
- Windows 8.1®, and Windows 10® (32 and 64 bit); all with latest Service Packs and updates installed
- Intel® Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 or better CPU
- 2 GB RAM
- 2 GB of available disk space
- Powered USB Port
- Monitor resolution of 1024x768 pixels or higher
- Dual display support requires either 2 video cards or a dual head video card that supports dual video LUTs being loaded
- Latest drivers for video card installed
- DVD drive or high-speed Internet connection required for software install, download and automatic software update
- User must have Administrator rights to install and uninstall the application
Macintosh® :
- macOS 10.13, 10.14 and 10.15 (with latest updates installed)
- Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 2 GB of available disk space
- Powered USB Port
- Monitor resolution of 1024x768 pixels or higher
- Dual display support requires either 2 video cards or a dual head video card that supports dual video LUTs being loaded
- Latest drivers for video card installed
- DVD drive or high-speed Internet connection required for software install, download and automatic software update
- User must have Administrator rights to install and uninstall the application
3. Installation
Administrator rights are required to install and uninstall the software.
Do not connect measurement devices until the software installation is complete and the system has restarted.
